I wanted to share this behind-the-scenes video that shows the making of the unique, live advertisement for De Beer's "A Diamond is Forever" campaign. Because the phrase "A Diamond is Forever" was losing it's meaning and effectiveness, De Beers decided to show the world that a diamond is the only item in the gift giving industry that truly lasts. Placing this live advertisement in the center of Grand Central Station in New York City, people were able to see that over time roses die, but a diamond never does.
